The Mantis Work Platform is a 36" (914 mm) x 72" (1829 mm) personnel lifting device with a load capacity of 750 lbs (340 kgs). It comes equipped with a test weight, attachment arm and adapter. The platform,weight and arm are compatible with all Mantis crawler cranes. An adapter is necessary to make the connection between the boom and the platform and one is available for each crawler model. The Mantis Work Platform is operated from the crane cab by its operator utilizing the crane controls in response to hand signals from the personnel in the platform. The crane controls provide for operation and monitoring of all functions. Although the Mantis Work Platform is simple to operate and care for, the operator must be thoroughly familiar with the operation of the crane prior to beginning any work with the platform.
